Empathize & Define

Empathize: To gain a deeper insight into learners and their needs, I initiated the research phase by collecting both quantitative and qualitative data through surveys and interviews. I conducted surveys with 10 Instructional Designers and held interviews with 5 of them. 

By synthesizing observations from this phase and constructing empathy maps, learner personas, and learner experience maps, I was able to understand my learners' needs and challenges and define the problem at hand.

Define: Anjana, is a busy Instructional Designer who wants to integrate neuroscience principles into her eLearning projects. She is overwhelmed by the complex concepts, leading to cognitive overload. Additionally, she struggles finding resources that are concrete and hands-on.
