Ideate & Prototype
Ideate: After interpreting the learner information and defining the problem, my next step was to create a learner story. This approach ensured that the project goal remained user-centered, aligning with the needs and experiences of those engaging with the content. I reframed the problem statement into "How Might We" questions to brainstorm solutions to meet the user's needs.
Learner Story: As a busy Instructional Designer, Anajana wants easily accessible, understandable and practical resources on integrating neuroscience principles into eLearning projects, so that she can create engaging and effective learning experiences.
Brainstorming: The brainstorming session helped narrow down the best idea which would meet user needs. In this case, a curated collection of bite-sized videos, online courses, tutorials and other resources which would be organized into categories such as "Memory Formation", "Attention and Focus", "Motivation", etc., allowing users to browse resources based on their specific interests.
Prototype: I started with a rapid low-fidelity prototype on paper which gave my users a quick view of the product and let me make iterations as necessary. After incorporating user feedback, I create a mid-fidelity prototype to help the users visualize what the end product would look like.
